I recently received a book, A Dark Sky, from my grandparents. (Recently being yesterday.) It was written by a twelve-year-old girl, Giselle Rocha, and I emailed her and have arranged to interview her. So, soon enough, I will have a real published author’s interview on here!
“G” is lovely, and her writing just the same. I have yet to finish her enticing novel, but so far I am entranced. Kristen is the main character, and is sent off far from her home to an academy for training royal guards. Why? It could be that her parents disapprove of her adoring boyfriend, Caesar, or is there another reason? And then Krissy is escorted by the queen herself and… Yeah, I’m only a third of the way through. The setting is a cross between medieval times, fairyland, and modern day. It’s very original.
I thoroughly recommend A Dark Sky to anyone!
On a completely unrelated note, I thought I’d make a list of weird things I do:
1. Talk to my cat.
2. Sing with a hairbrush.
3. Do not step on cracks in a sidewalk.
4. Go out of my way to step on a crunchy leaf/seaweed thing.
5. Blog about weird things I do!
Peace, love, and watch out for monsters,
